Multicultural Bonspiel

NEW - This bonspiel aims to provide fun curling experience with fun games, while celebrating the diversity within Guelph and the surrounding areas.

This is a new bonspiel and concept that will help introduce people to the game of curling in a fun, no-stress atmosphere.

Some things to be excited about with this bonspiel:

1. If you are new curling and want to try it with friends, family, or by yourself, this is for you
2. Unique to this event, we will make teams of three (you can let us know in the registration process if you have a team of three already), then we will pair you up with a member of Guelph Curling to be the "skip (person who decides on strategy and throws the last stones)" - this way each team will have an experienced curler with them
3. We will also provide a volunteer on each sheet of ice to help the person delivering the stones decipher what the skip is calling at the other end
4. There will be two 6-end games of curling, with some fun off-ice games in between and a meal to follow
5. We will provide all of the equipment, you just need to bring a clean pair of running shoes to change into when you arrive and some warm active wear

Come out and see how much fun you can have on ice (it's not as slippery as you would think).
