This event is a double knockout event to determine two women's and two men's teams that will represent Guelph Curling at the zone playdown. Based on the amount of registrations, the women's division will play one game to determine seeding.
Eligibility is limited to “unlimited” and “once-a-week” members who are currently participating in a league. All other membership or drop-in categories are not eligible. Your team can be made of any combination of eligible members, it does not have to be the team that you participate with in a league.
There will be 3 draws on March 16 to determine the 1st qualifiers. The 2nd qualifier game will be determined at an agreeable time by the other two teams in each division.
A minimum of three players must be a minimum of 19 years of age or older as of June 30, 2024.
All games will be 8 ends with ties being decided by a full extra end, with no pre-game practice. Last rock decided by a coin toss. The "no tick" rule will be in effect.
Any rescheduled games MUST be played before the next scheduled draw for your event. (Ie. Men’s or Women’s)
