Geared toward newer curlers, this is a great league for those who have recently completed the Adult Learn-to-Curl program, are new to curling altogether, or are still in the beginner-ish stages. This league also welcomes more experienced players looking for a fun, relaxed, and more casual curling experience.
The league runs jitney-style, which means players register individually rather than as part of a set team. Teams are made up each week based on who is there, giving curlers the chance to meet new people, play with different teammates, and try different positions throughout the season. Scores are kept during each game but standings are not tracked week to week. It’s a flexible, supportive, and social league for curlers of all skill levels to get on the ice, keep learning, and enjoy the sport!
League time is 8:15pm. Games are 90 minutes with no new ends starting if a rock has not been played by the 80th minute.
