This is a new league for stick curlers to enjoy this newer format of curling amongst themselves.
The purpose of the league is to provide Stick Curlers with a stick-only environment where they can form teams and practice as a team with the intent of taking that team to stick-only competitions.
We will be curling in the usual 4-person team format as well as 2-person stick team format. The 2-person stick format is a quick and fun format where your teammate stands at the opposite end of the sheet with one of your competitors. You remain at your end and play against the competitor sharing your end. The game is six ends and the players throw 6 rocks. Games are usually around 1 hour to play. No sweeping between the hog lines and usual sweeping rules apply for hog line in. No player can cross the halfway mark on the sheet. This format really allows you to hone your skills. The format is a little different, but there are a lot of similarities to what we are playing now.
